Guest perks you can show before they book.

Give your marketing more to say

Match the perk to the guest

Give them more to plan around

01 / Put perks to work in your marketing

Help guests picture why they’d stay with you.

The right offer can speak to the trip a guest wants: a productive work week, a weekend together or an extra day to explore.

YOUR LISTINGS & POSTS

Give your marketing more to show.

Pair your room photos with approved offers from nearby places. Give your listing, Instagram posts and WhatsApp Status something specific to say about the experience around your property.

THE BOOKING CONVERSATION

Match the perk to the guest.

A café offer may appeal to someone visiting for work. A spa or restaurant offer may suit a couple planning a weekend. Bring the relevant perk into the conversation while they’re choosing where to stay.

A POSSIBLE EXTRA NIGHT

Give them more to plan around.

Show what another day could include: a relaxed breakfast, a spa visit or dinner nearby. Use the available offers to help a guest consider a longer stay that fits their plans and budget.

02 / In your booking conversation

Give them a picture
of the whole stay.

A guest is comparing places for the weekend. Alongside your room photos and rate, show a local perk that fits the trip they have in mind.

  • Before they book: show what comes with the stay

Use approved perk details in your listing, Instagram posts and WhatsApp replies. Name the place, the offer and its conditions.

  • If they’re considering another night: show the possibilities

Suggest time for a meal, a café visit or a spa appointment. Check the property’s availability and the offers for those dates.

  • After they book: make the offer easy to use

Add the guest and their stay dates, then share their personal perks link. They choose what to use and arrange any appointment with the venue.

A reason to choose your place.

Hi Tolu, here’s something extra for the weekend you’re planning.

A stay with us includes a guest offer at a nearby spa: your first massage is ₦35,000 instead of ₦40,000. You can book a slot with the spa and make it part of your weekend.

Appointment required. The offer must be available for your stay dates.

Describe confirmed offers before they book. Send their personal perks link after the booking is confirmed.

Illustration only. Actual places, prices and terms depend on your property’s approved offers.

03 / From booking to using a perk

Guests book with you. Perks come with their stay.

Promote the confirmed offers before the booking. Share the guest’s personal link after it.

01

A guest books your place.

They book through your usual channel. Add the guest and their stay dates to Quest, then share their perks link by WhatsApp or in your welcome message.

02

They choose a nearby perk.

The link shows your property’s approved offers. Guests check the price and conditions, contact the venue if an appointment is needed, and get their code.

03

The venue welcomes them.

Staff check the code and honour the offer. Your guest gets the experience you described, and you can see which perks were used.

04 / Getting ready

A useful pack starts with places near you.

A great offer across town may be no help to your guest. Quest checks what is available around your property before a pack goes live.

  • You bring the property and the welcome.

Share your location, tell us about your guests and suggest places you already recommend.

  • Quest coordinates the offers.

We work with participating venues, review their terms and make approved perks available.

  • Each business provides its own service.

The spa handles the massage. The café handles the meal. Their staff check the guest’s code.

05 / An additional earning idea

Guest visits could bring a little extra.

Perks give you something useful to promote and guests more to enjoy. We’re also planning host commissions: your property and Quest would share the business’s referral fee on purchases covered by the agreement.

Each earning offer would show your property’s rate and which purchases count. A 4% host rate, for example, means ₦4 for every ₦100 of spending that counts.

Host commissions are not live yet.

Before an earning offer launches, you would agree which purchases count, how refunds affect earnings and when you get paid. Quest would check the visit and collect the business’s fee before paying your share.

Try different guest bills and rates to see how the example changes. Actual earnings would depend on the agreed offer and guests using it.

06 / A few practical questions

Before you say yes.

Something specific to your property?
Talk to Quest ↗

Can I use the perks to market my property before a guest books?
Yes. Once an offer is approved for your property, you can describe it in your listing, social posts and booking conversations. Name the business, explain what the guest gets and include key conditions. Check that the offer is available for the dates you’re promoting. Send the guest’s personal redemption link after they book.
Could the perks help a guest choose us or stay longer?
A relevant perk gives you another reason to recommend your property. A café offer might suit a work trip; restaurant and spa offers can help a guest picture a longer weekend. Use the offers that fit their plans. Perks can support the conversation, but they do not guarantee a booking or extra nights.
Do I need to lower my room rate?
No. You set your usual room price. The participating business provides its own guest offer, giving you something extra to include in your pitch. State what is a discount and what is included for free, so the guest knows what they will pay.
Does a longer stay mean the guest can use every perk again?
No. Perks keep their own dates, limits and conditions. A longer stay may give a guest time to enjoy more of the available offers, but it does not reset a perk they have already used. Confirm which offers cover any extra dates before including them in a booking.
Does the guest book their stay through Quest?
They book with you through your usual channel: WhatsApp, an agent, your website or a booking platform. After confirming the stay, you add their details in Quest and share their personal perks link.
Who finds the spas, cafés and other places?
Quest works with participating businesses and reviews their offers. You choose from the approved options available to your property. You can suggest a business you already recommend, but its offer needs to be agreed and approved before guests can use it.
What do I need to do for each guest?
Set up your property and its perk pack. For each stay, add the guest’s details and dates, then share their link with your welcome message. The guest chooses an offer and the venue checks their code. You can see recorded uses in your dashboard.
Is it free for the shortlet or hotel?
The current host perk service is free to hosts. Guests pay the receiving business for what they buy under the offer’s terms. Any future host earning arrangement must specify its costs and conditions before you agree to it.
Are the perks free services or discounts?
That depends on each offer. A perk may be a discount, an included extra or a complimentary item with conditions. The guest sees what is included, what they pay, any minimum spend and when they can use it.
How would my property earn, and when would I be paid?
Host commissions are not live yet. The plan is for your property to earn an agreed share of qualifying purchases. Each offer would state the rate, which purchases count and when payouts happen. Quest would check the visit and collect the business’s fee before paying your share.
Does a bigger bill automatically mean a higher rate?
No. Extras only count if the agreement includes them. An offer could use one rate or a different rate for eligible extra purchases. Your actual earning rate and any spending conditions should be clear before you share the offer. The example on this page uses one adjustable rate.
What happens if the guest does not use a perk?
They keep their normal stay and owe nothing for an unused offer. You earn no referral commission from that guest’s unused perk. Sharing a link does not mean the guest has bought a service.
What if a guest has a problem at the venue?
The business named on the perk provides the service and handles appointment questions. Guests should contact that business first about their visit, and contact Quest if an offer or code is not honoured. You can raise concerns about a place with Quest before recommending it again.
Is my area ready, and can I add a hotel?
Yes, shortlets and hotels can set up privately in any area. Quest reviews your property and area separately. We’ll check which participating businesses have offers near your property. If your area is not listed, send Quest your property’s location.
